UPC Romania has launched a new interactive service known as Zone Tematice.
Available to customers who own a digital TV mediabox, it allows 12 channels to be viewed simultaneously on a screen before a selection is made through the application.
The service can be adapted to any type of TV content and in the first instance UPC Romania has opted for documentaries, with the 12 channels in the grid including several from the Discovery stable and three from Viasat.
The operator currently offers its subscribers a total 22 documentary channels, seven of which are in HD. Zone Tematice is the fifth application developed by UPC Romania.
