The Czech public broadcaster CT looks set to almost halve its transmission costs over the next four years by entering into a contract with Telefónica.
According to E15, it will be worth around CZK42.3 million (€1.62 million) over the four years, as opposed to CZK80 million, based on market research and three non-binding offers the broadcaster has received.
Significantly, Telefónica says that CT will be able to terminate the contract after two years.
