TeVolution is the name of a new hybrid over-the-top service in France that has launched with a basic tier for €3.99.
The new platform combines terrestrial reception of the French free-to-air TNT and TNT HD bouquets and a number of OTT bouquets.
People need to buy a dedicated set-top box from Netgear €79 and have an internet connection of at least 2Mbps. For DTT reception, an indoor or outside aerial is required (depending on the terrestrial signal strength). Connection to the TV set is by using a HDMI cable.
