Channel 4 has launched its 4oD catch up service to owners of the Freesat Freetime receiver.
It will give viewers of the free to air platform access to both the last 30 days of content and am y more hours from the public broadcaster’s archive.
4oD was promised a berth at the launch of the high-end Freetime satellite receiver last autumn. It will join the catch up services from Freesat shareholders BBC and ITV, as well as recent addition YouTube.

In addition to HTML5, Freesat is also running the European HbbTV protocols.
Freesat is planning music and movie services on demand and a remote record app is also in the pipeline.
