Multichannel viewing is now the norm in the Czech Republic, with almost two-thirds (61.9%) of homes watching between 10-25 channels, according to data produced by Mediaresearch.
A further one in five homes (19%) watch 51 or more channels, while at the other end of the scale only 0.6% watch between one and four channels.
DTT services are received in over half (51.4%) of Czech homes and satellite TV in over one in four (26.1%).
Cable and IPTV services are meanwhile watched in 20.6% and 1.9% of homes respectively.
The research was carried out in the first quarter of this year.
