Game channel Ginx has increased its Nordic footprint by launching with GET, Norway’s largest cable system.
The channel will be available to subscribers as part of Get’s restructured Extended Basic and “Opt-in” offers.
Ginx, the world’s only international channel dedicated to video-gaming and video-gaming culture, is growing its footprint around the world. I recently launched on MyHD in the Middle East and Slovak Telekom in Slovakia.
The channel is fully localised in over 40 territories and 9 language and focuses on all forms of video-gaming, ranging from console and PC games to mobile games and apps, as well as reporting from major video-gaming events such as E3 and Gamescom.
“We are very excited to be expanding our Nordic footprint with one of the key platforms there,” commented Ginx CEO, Michiel Bakker.
“Video-gaming is now a massively mainstream leisure activity and we are delighted that we are able to bring our channel to more gamers in Norway. Our shows highlight the latest games and provide news, reviews and behind the scenes insights for fans of video games and we hope they resonate with our new Norwegian viewers”.
