France Television has laucnhed a news app for Philips Net TV called France TV JT.
The new app is available for all devices form 2011 and onward and offers viewers on Philips connected TV sets direct access to the latest news bulletins from France 2 and France 3. JT stands for the French word for TV news, journal televise.
Philips has also announced a number of other new apps for its smart TVs. For Germany, Sportdigital was launched a sports app for all Smart TV devices except 2009 models.
Karnaval is a music app for Turkey for 2013 high-end TVs. And Ultilisima is an app about health, beauty and cooking for Argentina for all Net TV devices.
