The leading Swiss cable operator upc cablecom has appointed Ivo Hoevel as its head of marketing and products, effective September 2013.
In his new role he will report to CEO Eric Tveter and join the management team.
Hoevel was most recently in charge of marketing in the role of senior VP at Sky Deutschland in Munich.
In that role, which he held since 2010, he successfully drove forward the conception and marketing of new TV offerings and also opened up new digital distribution channels for the company.
Prior to that, he held leading positions at the telco provider O2 in Germany for over 10 years.
