Telenet has announced that Micha Berger will lead the activities of the Engineering Department and the Service Assurance Group as CTO from July 1st.
He will also become a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will report directly to John Porter, CEO of Telenet.
Micha Berger has worked for Liberty Global since 2006, initially as manager of the Engineering Department at UPC Nederland. As Vice President at Liberty Global since 2010 he has been responsible for Horizon Next Generation digital TV development and product roll-out. Before these endeavours, he gained his first experience in the cable industry at HOT Israel, where he was responsible for the development of the interactive digital service platform and the roll-out of video-on-demand.

With these appointments Telenet has laid a new foundation for the structure of its Technology and Infrastructure department.
Micha Berger (42) holds dual Israeli-US nationality. He is married, has three children and lives in Amsterdam at the moment.
