Dominik Libicki has been confirmed the president of Cyfrowy Polsat by the company’s Management Board for a further three years.
Libicki has held the position since March 2001, during which time the company has grown from a subsidiary of Polsat into its owner and with a number of interests including Cyfrowy Polsat, the country’s leading DTH platform, and on demand service ipla.
Separately, Cyfrowy Polsat has announced a new offer to coincide with Poland’s analogue switch off, which will take place next month.
Known as “Super Occasion”, it will see subscribers to offered its mobile TV service for a reduced price of PLN1 (€0.23) for DVB-T set-top box and a reduced subscription of PLN9.90 a package including additional channels and PLN14.90 for the Family HD satellite package, in the latter case free of charge for the first six months.
