Focus falls on major NATPE show

June 6, 2013 09.59 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

natpe_budapestThis year’s NATPE Budapest, formerly known as Discop, will for the first time include a Broadband TV News event.

Produced jointly with NATPE, it will look at the opportunities and challenges of reversioning programming across all genres for content rights owners, local producers and digital and multimedia platforms in the CEE region.

NAPTE Budapest is the premier content market in Central and Eastern Europe and has a rich history dating back over 20 years.

During that time, it has become the perfect meeting place for all those either already involved in the content market in the region or interested in doing business there.

The Broadband TV News event, which will take place in the famous Café Gerbeaud in Budapest between 08.00 and 10.00 on Tuesday, June 25, has already secured the participation of leading executives from HBO Europe, Chello Central Europe, FRAPA and Eurodata TV Worldwide.

The format it will take will be one of presentations, followed by a panel discussion and Q&As from the audience, with ample time being allocated before and after the event for networking.

Interest in the event is strong and to secure free attendance readers can register by going to:
