Oregan Networks, which recently took over from Mediaroom as the middleware on BT Vision, has reported a 17.9% uplift in its licensing and professional services.
Oregan, which powers hybrid IP devices for both telecoms operators and retail brands is also running on devices sold and leased by Telefonica, CAT Telecom, NTT, Batelco, Sony, Philips, Dixons and Sharp.
Mark Perry, chief executive officer said: “Oregan’s strategic focus on broadcast and internet TV convergence, along with the relevance of our product in both the telecoms and broadcast sectors, have made significant contributions to our success in 2012.
Oregan recently completed the download of its middleware to the existing BT Vision installed base. Originally reported in 2011 it is now in full commercial deployment.
During the prior financial year, the company reported roll out of its technology with Telefonica in the markets of Spain, Argentina and Brazil. As anticipated, the service adoption rates in Argentina, in particular, have continued to grow.
