Amino Technologies has said it anticipates profits for the first half of 2013 being significantly ahead of the last year.
In a trading update, the IPTV, Internet TV and in-home multimedia distribution company said it was significantly ahead of 2012 figure of £200,000.
“This results from the phasing and mix of H1 trading compared to the prior year and continued strong margins, together with the added benefit of previously announced duties rebates of £1.7m. Revenue remains in line with the prior year and the cash balance remains strong at £18.2m,” read a company statement.
Amino, which in January moved into the black, has benefitted by centralizing its primary technology facility in Cambridge from Sweden at a cost of £800,000.
