SunRTV is launching its own TV-channel, bundling the best programming of seven different channels from Suriname.
The new channel will bring news, politics, sports, games, nature, culture, and more to the Suriname community in the Netherlands, which is around 400,000) people strong.
SunRTV is available on computers, tablets or TV, powered by the over-the-top platform developed by Weepee New Media Ventures. For this project, Weepee uses the M12 OTT STB of Abox42.
“Weepee convinced us at the very first meeting, showcasing their extensive expertise, support and a platform that can be launched very quickly,” said Danny Viergever, driving force behind SunRTV, in a statement.
“We tested the stability and possibilities of the platform in several devices with a test-account”.

They use several components of our OTT TV platform and are a perfect fit for the possibilities it offers. On top of that, they will reach a part of the market that is both niche and very interested in their product.
