French media regulator CSA has approved the extension of the DVB-T2 trial currently underway in the northern city of Rennes.
The license for the trial had been set to expire but has now been extended for a six month period beginning on May 16, 2013.
The trial is undertaken by Images & Réseaux in collaboration with the broadcast network operator TDF. It is available from channel 43 and is transmitted from two transmission sites (Rennes-Cesson Sévigné and Rennes-Janvier).
