The first Kazakhstan widescreen sport channel Kazsport will start broadcasting on July 1, 2013, according to a report in Tengrinews.
The new channel will bring sport events, championships and cups of Kazakhstan, international tournaments and games, live interviews with sportsmen and organisers of sport events, original standups and programmes about famous sportsmen.
Pilot broadcasting of the TV channel will start on June 15.
Earlier Vesti.kz cited Director of the Strategic Development Department of Kazakhstan Sport Ministry Dariga Kamzebayeva as saying that Kazsport channel will be broadcasting in two languages (Russian and Kazakhstan) 20-hours a day. It will be available in cable and satellite operators’ networks and Otau TV satellite network.
