The French government has instructed the National Frequency Agency (ANFR) to continue to provide support for people who live outside the DTT coverage area.

A new decree to this effect will be taken in the coming weeks. Ministers also requested that ANFR studies, in conjunction with media authority CSA, technical modifications to improve DTT reception in the most affected areas, starting with the Cotentin peninsula.
The plan is see the possibilities of bringing additional transmitters and repeaters into service.
