Thomson’s ViBE VS7000 Video System for OTT and Convergent TV is being described by the manufacture as a breakthrough “anything in, anything out” encoding/transcoding platform for Web TV, over-the-top (OTT) services, IPTV, and cable delivery.
The ViBE VS7000 video system combines Thomson Video Networks’ next-generation compression platform in an all-IP environment with live broadcast-quality encoding, innovative video preprocessing, and faster-than-real-time file transcoding. At ANGA COM 2013, Thomson Video Networks will also showcase both real-time and off-line HEVC encoding on the ViBE VS7000 platform.
Thomson Video Networks will also display its dense and flexible ViBE CP6000 contribution system, the versatile ViBE EM4000 eight-channel encoder and Sapphire MPEG broadcast server.
