Nickelodeon is consolidating its presence in Central Eastern Europe (CEE) via two new localised Nickelodeon channels in Serbia and Slovenia.
Viacom International Media Networks’ (VIMN) said the launch shows it ongoing commitment to the region, enabling children and their families to enjoy their favourite characters and series in their own language, including popular evergreens SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer, along with the fearsome foursome, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Local language versions of Nickelodeon launched in Serbia and Slovenia and follow in the footsteps of the success of Nickelodeon Croatia, which launched on December 15, 2011 and is already the number 1 children’s channel in the market.
The two local language channel launches support VIMN’s wider ambition to deepen its cross-brand presence in the CEE market, following the recent launches of Comedy Central Extra in Adria, Romania and Hungary in summer 2012 and early 2013.
