ANGA COM 2013: Hall 10, Stand G20. ATX will be displaying its VersAtive encoding/transcoding platform, designed to handle address any type of encoding/transcoding or packetization requirement associated with adaptive streaming or traditional encode/transcode functions.
VersAtive can be configured as a standalone device or to work as part of a cluster of VersAtive devices (Offline Transcoding).
The platform can support a variety of inputs (IP, HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, Component or Composite) and can encode (Broadcast Quality H.264/MPEG-2 SD/HD) or transcode (Broadcast Quality H.264 to MPEG-2/MPEG-2 to H.264 SD/HD) on a standalone basis or for adaptive bitrate/multiscreen services applications on a live or off-line basis.
VersAtive currently supports Adaptive Flash Streaming for the PC, along with mobile/tablet technologies (HLS, RTSP), and television formats (H.264/MPEG-2 TS).
ATX will also display its DigiVu and DVIS multichannel encoding and transmission platforms that provide operators with a scalable platform for local content insertion, content backhaul, and headend encoding/transmission in either RF or IP-based formats.
