SinemaTVTurkey’s SinemaTV has signed a new output deal with NBCUNiversal International TV Distribution.

Under it, several of the studio’s feature film and TV titles will for the first time be made available on Turkish TV.

Commenting on the deal, Fatih Oflaz, president of SinemaTV, said: “We have been collaborating with NBCUniversal since the launch of our first channel and we are ecstatic to expand our business with them. As a result of this deal, we have the opportunity to introduce various recent NBCUniversal movies and TV shows to our subscribers. Our viewers have already begun enjoying great movies such as Robin Hood, The Wolfman and Despicable Me; hit TV shows like Downton Abbey and Grimm; and in May, we will premiere the recent sci-fi drama series Defiance, along with many other popular titles.”

Belinda Menendez, president, NBCUniversal International Television Distribution & Universal Networks International, added: “We are pleased to extend our deal with SinemaTV and look forward to our continued partnership with them as they bring our quality programming and movies to audiences in Turkey.”
