UPC Nederland has now made the HBO Go service available to all HBO subscribers on the Dutch cable network.
HBO Go is included with the HBO subscription and offers live streaming of the three HBO channels well as on-demand content consisting of current and past series of the premium broadcaster. This includes all seasons of The Sopranos, Sex and the City and from July also The Wire.
A number of shows are available a day after the original US broadcast, such as the current season of Veep, which is before broadcast on the Dutch linear HBO channels. Current seasons of Game of Thrones and House of Lies are also available.
HBO Go is available on iPads, Android devices as well as on laptops and computers.
The launch of HBO Go comes before the launch of Chellomedia’s Film1 Go app for UPC customers. At the moment, Film1 Go is only available to Canal Digitaal subscribers, not to UPC homes.
