Estonia’s Levira has appointed Tarmo Osman as its new director of the Network Services Division.
In this role, he will be responsible for managing TV and radio services and telecommunications at the Tallinn-based company.
Osman is a founding member of the Lions Club Tallinn Toompea and has previously worked as development director at Tele 2 and head of the Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
Commenting on his appointment. Levira’s CEO Mart Einpalu said: “Tarmo brings a wealth of experience and fresh energy to the company management. His long experience in the field, both in Estonia and abroad, is a good basis for further development of media and telecommunication services.
“Tarmo’s priority will be the satisfaction of our customers – TV and radio channels and telecoms.”
Osman added: “Levira is in a very interesting development stage and I am happy to be part of this process.
“Given the general developments in broadcasting today, we need to revise our current business models. The integration of broadcasting, media and telecommunications set ground for new business models and bring new players to the market, which requires greater flexibility and new developments also from the existing operators.”
Levira offers infrastructure services to IT, media and telecom industries.
It is the largest provider of TV playout services in Northern Europe and the main TV and radio broadcast transmission service provider in Estonia.
