Poland’s Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) is to host this year’s ITU annual Global Symposium for Global Regulators.
Highlights of the symposium will include the quest for additional wireless spectrum to support future mobile growth, strategies to drive 4G infrastructure investment, digital money, roadblocks to IPv6 implementation, and emerging new revenue models for telcos, such as online advertising and IP-based broadcasting.
The first two days will comprise the Global Regulators-Industry Dialogue (GRID) on July 3 and 4 and will be open to regulators, policy makers and members of the ITU’s Development Sector.
The third day (July 5) will be a closed session open to regulators and policy makers only.
The morning session on Wednesday, July 3 will be open to media, culminating in a press conference at 12.45.
