Telekom Slovenije’s Supervisory Board has confirmed that the company generated a profit of €43.7 million in 2012.
This was an increase of 28%, or €9.7 million, on the previous year and does not differ significantly from already published unaudited business results.
Operating revenues amounted to €793.1 million, or 4% less than in 2011, due to adverse economic conditions and general negative trends in the fixed and mobile telephony segments.
EBITDA meanwhile reached €241.6 million, or 30.5% of operating revenues, and investments in fixed assets amounted to €128.1 million.
Significantly, the company’s net financial debt was reduced by 15% in 2012 to €330.3c million.
Telekom Slovenije now expects to make a net profit of €50 million in 2013, with EBITDA rising to €245 million and around €130 million being earmarked for investments in fixed assets.
