The Russian cable operator ER Telecom ended the first quarter with 5.4 million subscribers, or 28% more than a year earlier.
According to preliminary results published by the company, its revenues in the quarter amounted to R4.4 billion (€107.8 million) and were 14% higher than in Q4 2012.
EBITDA in Q1 meanwhile amounted to R1.5 billion, while net profit stood at R500 million.
The preliminary results have led ER Telecom to issue an optimistic forecast that that its revenues in 2013 will grow by 38% and EBITDA increase five-fold.
At the same time, its subscriber total will exceed 6 million.
Its priorities for the year are to have a stable financial performance, improve QoS and develop corporate sales, according to CEO Andrei Semerikov.
