The French language satellite DTH service CanalSat Caraïbes is adding 30 TV channels and 16 radio stations to its line-up.
The bouquet will be using the MPEG4 standard. The operator has now made the HD channels part of its basic offer as well as a PVR. CanalSat recommends its customers to exchange their old MPEG2 receiver for a CanalSat Cube, which handles all HD channels as well as the PVR functionality.
The new channels added are seven sports channels (Ma chaîne Sport HD, Ma chaîne Sport Extrême, Ma chaîne Sport Tennis, Nautical Channel, L’Equipe 21, ESPN 2 and Trace Sports), the entertainment channeks Non Stop People, June, Stylia, MTV and Canal+ Family HD; the documentary channels Nat Geo Wild, Histoire, Discovery Science and Discovery Channel HD and the local stations ETV, Zouk TV, Carrib’in TV, ATG, TNH, Telemicro 3 and KTV; kids channels Gulli and Piwi+; and finally Euronews, TV5 Monde, Djazz TV and Cine+ Premier HD.
