The Russian commercial broadcaster CTC Media has appointed Lorenzo Grabau as a member and co-chairman of its board of directors, effective upon the closing of its 2013 annual meeting of stockholders on April 30.
He fills a vacancy created by the departure of Hans-Holger Albrecht, formerly CEO of Modern Times Group (MTG), from the board.
CTC Media’s board has also nominated Dmitry Lebedev and Werner Klatter for re-election at the annual meeting.
In addition, it has announced that Mathias Hermansson will not stand for re-election to the board.
In accordance with the stockholder’s agreement, MTG Russia has designated Jørgen Madsen Lindemann for election as a director.
The board has recommended that stockholders elect Messrs Klatten, Lebedev and Lindemann at the annual meeting.
