KidsCo has confirmed that the previously announced Syfy Kids programming block will first launch in Central and Eastern Europe in June 2013.
The fully dubbed product, which will be the product of a partnership between KidsCo and Syfy, will offer a raft of new content including original programming and recently acquired titles from KidsCo joint venture partners NBCUniversal and Corus Entertainment.
Commenting on the branded block, which will air exclusively on KidsCo at peak viewing times.
KidsCo MD Hendrik McDermott said: “KidsCo has invested in a strong range of imagination-based content that will bring Syfy Kids to life for six to ten-year-old kids.
The series airing in this unique genre-based programming block – the first of its kind from Syfy – are sure to capture the imaginations of young audiences. Launching first in Central & Eastern Europe, we will be rolling out the fully dubbed programming block across KidsCo territories throughout 2013. We are now in the process of looking at third-party content to complement the line up later in the year.”
