New look for NATPE BUDAPEST

Sofitel BudapestNATPE BUDAPEST will this year for the first time include a briefing session, organised jointly with Broadband TV News.

Entitled Extending the Value of Content – Beyond Borders and Across Platforms, it will be moderated by Broadband TV News Editor Julian Clover and take place at the iconic Budapest venue Café Gerbeaud between 8-10am on Tuesday, June 25.

The briefing will look at the opportunities and challenges of recersioning programming across all genres for content rights owners, local producers and digital and multiplatform owners in the CEE region.

Confirmed speakers include Antony Root, EVP Original Programming and Production, HBO Europe.

NATPE Budapest will itself take place at the Sofitel Chain Bridge in Budapest on June 24-27.

Other activities will include a welcome networking reception for all attendees at the Paris Restaurant at the Sofitel Chain Bridge on Tuesday, June 25 at 6pm.

“Invitation Only” screenings from the major studios will kick start the annual event on Monday, June 24 and continue through Tuesday, June 25.

NATPE BUDAPEST will also launch an innovative meeting concierge service for attendees.

The NATPE Navigator customer service initiative will assist buyers and sellers attending NATPE Budapest by providing assistance with scheduling meetings.

Based on business objectives, the Navigator team will deliver targeted prospect lists and offer a customized experience developed to help maximize business opportunities.

With three months to go, there are already 250 content buyers from more than 30 countries registered to attend.

There are also 150 programme suppliers confirmed as exhibitors.
