Chello Central Europe is giving its popular children’s channel Minimax a brand refresh.
The station has adopted the 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio and the logo has been redesigned following a collaboration between Studio Baestarts, and Hungary’s leading 3D animation studio, KGB Studio.
Levente Málnay, CEO Chello Central Europe said: “The Minimax rebrand brings new energy to our lineup of great shows. 3D will offer an energised viewing experience to the children, making Minimax characters much more real. The new on-air feel draws on the emotional connections and fond memories that viewers associate with cartoons. The fresh brand reflects the channel’s new positioning as a top entertainment choice both for children and parents.”
Minimax, which targets children from 2 to 12 years, is available across 10 million households in Central Europe. The rebrand will also see addition of new episodes of popular series, Thomas & Friends and Bibi Blocksberg, and on popular demand, the return of Horseland and Songs and Rhymes for Children.
