Intelsat has announced a multi-year extension agreement with Lebanon-based ART/International Network Distribution (IND), an aggregator and distributor of niche and international channels in the global market.
ART/IND has extended its agreement on the Intelsat 21 satellite, located at 302 degrees East, for the contribution and distribution of its key programming channels in the Americas.
As an Intelsat customer for more than a decade, ART/IND will join several premier media companies on the satellite in delivering a mix of compelling and diverse content. Intelsat 21, along with Intelsat 805, offers media companies the premier video neighborhoods and DTH platforms available in the Americas, providing unparalleled access to viewers.
“Through this agreement, we are able to continue serving our growing number of channel affiliates and customers and enjoy the global coverage that we require,” said ART/IND CEO Karim Abdallah. “With its reliable satellite fleet and expansive coverage, Intelsat is uniquely capable of providing the access we need to serve our channel affiliates and customers.”
