The new Polish DTH platform nC+ was officially launched on March 21.
Its offer consists of 50 HD channels and include six programme packages, starting from PLN39 (€9.4) a month.
Significantly, reception of the service is through a new hybrid set-top box named MediaBOX+.
Produced by ADB and employing Conax conditional access, it includes a 500 GB hard disk.
The platform, formed by the merger of n and Cyfra+, has started with 2.5 million subscribers, or around one million fewer than Cyfrowy Polsat, the market leader.
