The Slovak national commercial broadcaster TV Joj has announced that it will launch its third channel on April 15.
Known as WAU, it will offer a mix of programmes and target a young and urban female audience.
According to Frantisek Borovsky, the station’s director, WAU will attempt to significantly differentiate itself from the competition, which tends to reach older women viewers, with the top priority being to have advertising attractive to younger women.
WAU will join TV Joj and TV Joj Plus, both of which are operated by the Joj Group.
