The Polish entertainment channel TVP Rozrywka will make its debut on Monday, April 15.
According to the public broadcaster, its launch and production will be directly handled TVP’s second national channel, TVP2.
TVP Rozrywka was awarded a licence by the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) on February 28 this year and once up and running will be TVP’s nine thematic channel excluding TVP Parlament, which is carried only over the internet.
Following on from TVP Rozrywka, which will be distributed by cable and satellite, TVP will launch a documentary channel named TVP Dokument, most probably this autumn.
It has also applied for a licence to distribute a proposed kids channel named TVP ABC on the country’s first DTT multiplex (MUX-1).
