Telekom Slovenije has announced a number of important changes to its programming offer, effective from this Wednesday (March 6).
They will see the number of HD channels this includes rise to 27, with more set to follow in the future.
Most new subscribers to the Slovenian telco’s IPTV service SiOL TV start by receiving its Mega package.
However, they will now be automatically migrated to the new, upgraded HD Mega package, which in addition to all existing services will be enriched with up to 17 HD and five SD channels, with the total number of HD channels it offers rising to 20.
The new Mega HD package will cost an additional €2.50 from April 1.
The changes will also see subscribers offered Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 HD for an additional €3 a month, along with the adult channels Hustler HD, EroxHD, EroxxHD and EroxxxHD for an additional €5 a month, with the new charges again coming into effect on April 1.
The numbering of channels will also be changed, according to categories and topics, on March 6.
SiOL TV is one of the longest established IPTV services in Europe, having made its debut 10 years ago.
