Poland’s Telewizja Polsat has added three Viasat-branded channels to its offer.
Known as Polsat Viasat History, Polsat Viasat Explorer and Polsat Viasat Nature, they form a new Viasat documentary package and are being made available subscribers of Cyfrowy Polsat’s Mini HD package.
Commenting on their launch, Cyfrowy Polsat’s president Dominik Libicki said: “Telewizja Polsat has been steadily building a channel offer for the entire family. Thanks to cooperation with Viasat we have widened our offer to a new documentary package. As such a (genre) is very popular among Polish viewers I am convinced that thanks to cooperation with our platform the popularity of Polsat’s Viasat channels will continue to grow.”
With the addition of the three channels, Telewizja Polsat has a total of 20 in its portfolio.
Airtime for the three channels, along with 21 others, is being undertaken by Polsat Media.
