Reporting for the full year of 2012, Deutsche Telekom has said it now has 1,966,000 TV customers, including IPTV and DTH satellite.
This represents a growth of 413,000 homes (+26.6%) from 1,553,000 at December 31, 2011. In Germany, the operator offers two distinct TV products, the IPTV service Entertain and the satellite DTH platform EntertainSat.
For the rest of Europe, IPTV grew 17.9% with 145,000 homes from 809,00 to 954,000 subscribers.”IPTV growth continued apace in almost all markets,” according to the company.
Deutsche Telekom said it achieved its financial targets in the financial year 2012, and confirmed its dividend planning of 70 euro cents per share.
Adjusted EBITDA totaled €18.0 billion, down €0.7 billion or 3.8% compared with 2011. At €6.2 billion, free cash flow exceeded the expected level of around €6 billion.
