Mária Adamcová, wife of the Slovak actor Igor Adamec, has received a DTT licence to broadcast her Madam TV nationwide.
The channel plans to broadcast 24 hours a day with series and movies making up half the schedule, with the remainder being news, documentaries and general entertainment. The new broadcaster ha snot yet named a starting date
The Council for Broadcasting has issued the licence to Madam TV, with Mária Adamcová as managing director. Her actor-husband is listed as ‘husband’, although Adamec told the Mediálne.sk website, he advised her with the application.
Since 2011 Adamec is director of regional television station Ružinov.
