Discovery HD is launching on March 1 on Eutelsat Kabelkiosk, the German headend-in-the-sky platform.
The launch was first reported in Broadband TV News last week. The channel will be offered by Kabelkiosk as part of its FamilyXL HD bouquet. The HD version of Discovery Channel will replace the SD version.
In addition, Discovery content is also available through the Kabelkiosk Choice hybrid TV service using the HbbTV standard.
