Deutsche Telekom’s Makedonski Telekom has exceeded the 70,000 point on its MaxTV service.
“In four years of presence on the market and in highly competitive conditions,” MaxTV now claims to be the leader on the TV market in Macedonia.
During 2012 66,541 new customers to MaxTV were registered, an increase by 66% compared to 2011 when a total of 40,129 IPTV customers signed up.
Out of the total number of MaxTV customers in 2012, 11.5% are connected via FTTH.
“MaxTV is a service that qualitatively changed the customer experience and that undoubtedly differentiates us from the competition. The leadership position on the market is a great success for the entire company, and at the same time it imposes an obligation for us to continue to develop and improve the service to the satisfaction of all our present and future customers, thus making the service unreachable for the competition”, said Daniel Szasz, CEO Makedonski Telekom.
Max TV is now adding a number of new channels including 24Kitchen, the English version of France 24, Hayat TV, FOX channel, as well as Travel channel HD and Auto Moto Sport HD.
