Incumbent Dutch telecoms operator KPN will rebrand the FTTH providers it acquired last year under its Telfort brand.
Starting in March, the current FTTH service providers KickXL, Lijbrandt, XMS and Concepts ICT will be rebranded as Telfort, the prize-fighter division of KPN.
Telfort will continue to offer the media services from Glashart Media, another FTTH company specialising in TV and radio distribution over fibre. Glashart already provides the digital TF and radio platform for the four service providers.
The operator will now have two separate TV products, one under the KPN Interactiveve TV and XS4All brands and one under the Telfort banner.
At the end of 2012, KPN had a total of 368,000 FTTH homes connected under its various brands.
