Discovery Networks International (DNI) has appointed Charlotte Reid director of production and development, lifestyle and entertainment, DNI.
In this newly created role, Reid will lead lifestyle and entertainment commissioning in Scandinavia and the Netherlands, as well as serve as executive producer on key returning series for DNI and the UK. Reid will report into Sarah Thornton, VP, head of production and development, lifestyle and entertainment, DNI.
“I am very excited that Charlotte is joining us. We worked closely with her at Maverick, and she executive produced the TLC global hit My Naked Secret. She has a real passion for lifestyle and entertainment content, is brimming with new ideas and will be a great addition to the team,” said Thornton in a statement.
Reid joins from Chocolate Media where she was Creative Director, Factual & Features and worked productions for the BBC and ITV including Raymond Blanc: The Very Hungry Frenchman and Great Historical Houses.
Previously she was executive producer at Maverick. She has worked on big features brands including Channel 4’s How to Look Good Naked, You Are What You Eat and How Clean Is Your House?, as well as the global TLC series, My Naked Secret.
