ThinkAnalytics has topped a year where it added new customers including Unitymedia, Zon and Canal Digital with a doubling of profits.
The multiplatform TV search and recommendations provider now boasts a customer base of 40 operators/broadcasters worldwide, leading to 100 million licensed subscribers.
“2012 marked the coming of age for the media recommendations engine and content discovery market with most operators commencing field trials or starting full deployment rollouts,” said Peter Docherty, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, ThinkAnalytics.

ThinkAnalytics offers customers an intelligent search and recommendations platform including advanced personalization and integration with social networks.
The privately-held company did not release any further financial information.
