The EBU is looking for a new director of technology & innovation after Lieven Vermaele announced he was leaving the organisation to return to Belgium.
Vermaele will leave the EBU in June to become the CEO if a technology start-up. He has worked at the EBU since September 2007.
As a member of the EBU management committee, the director also plays a major part in shaping EBU strategy.
Vermaele is also Chairman of DigiTAG, the cross industry organisation that aims to encourage and facilitate the implementation of digital terrestrial television services.
