Russian premium broadcaster NTV-Plus plans to begin distributing channels Over the Top, said marketing director Alexey Zhuravlev.
According to him, the launch of OTT services will allow NTV-Plus to expand its audience and launch new services.
“We have one of the most interesting packages for pay-TV market, including a lot of content produced, which demand among viewers,” said Zhuravlev.
He did not give any details about the launch date of the project and partners.
General Director of Tricolor TV, Alexander Makarov, said that the satellite operator also started to develop OTT services. “We are trying to develop the most appropriate model for providing Internet TV,” said Makarov.
Director of marketing for the satellite operator Orion Express, Mary Zilina, said that the company has been studying the international experience of service of Internet TV.
