Telia’s IPTV service in Estonia added another 4,000 subscribers in Q4 2012, growing by 14,000 during the year.
TV revenues more than doubled in 2012, where in the autumn Telia debuted its Samsung Smart TV solution that eliminates the need for a set-top box with a compatible television.
In Finland the number of TV customers passed 400,000 and revenues increased by almost 50% compared to the same period in 2011.
In Sweden, close to 600,000 TV subscribers are now able to watch HBO’s popular episodes one day after world premiere. The service is available across TV, computers, smartphones and tablets.
Sweden closed 2012 with 580,000 IPTV subscribers.
