Strong to distribute Thomson TVs in Austria

January 29, 2013 15.32 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Strong, which supplies digital TV reception equipment in Europe, has signed an agreement with TCL to distribute a full range of Thomson branded TVs through retail in Austria.

TCL is the licensee for Thomson branded TVs, and a manufacturer of LCD and LED TVs.

As manufacturing, assembling and warehousing take place in Europe, deliveries to the Austrian market and retailers will be fast and reliable.

With this cooperation Strong further strengthens its product range in Austria and will offer Austrian customers a complete range of high-quality Thomson branded TVs.

Khaled Debs, CEO of Strong, insures: “TCL has emerged as one of the top 4 LCD TV manufacturers in the world with the best expertise, and with our experience and know-how in sales, marketing and logistics, we are well prepared for this partnership.”

Arnaud Rabel, Germany and Austria sales director at TCL Europe, added: “Strong is the right partner for expanding our sales in Austria. We are confident that our product range will be highly valued by the Austrian trade and consumers.”
