CSTB 2013 – Moscow. NTV-Plus is likely to make its new offer to subscribers in eastern Russia also available to those in the rest of the country sometime this year.
As previously reported, the new offer, accessible to viewers living within the footprint of the DirecTV-1R and Bonum-1 satellites, consists of several packages, with the basic one providing 35 channels of different genres for R35 (€0.86) a month.
NTV-Plus is the longest established DTH platform in Central and Eastern Europe, having made its debut in 1996.
Like Tricolor TV and Orion Express, it is aiming to increase its subscriber base.
This has been relatively unchanged for some time and is unofficially believed to be in the region of 650,000.
