Levira and the Estonian public broadcaster ERR have signed a cooperation agreement to begin transmitting the channel ETV in DVB-T2.
Commenting on the move, Levira’s CEO Mart Einpalu said that although 250,000 homes in Estonia have HD sets, the quality of channels available in the format is meager.
Its goal is to offer viewers a better quality of TV experience.
Levira points out that the DVB-T2 standard is already used in most neighbouring countries including Finland, Sweden, Russia and Ukraine.
